JEZZZ! Governor Fayose Blast President Buhari again (MUST READ)

Ekiti state governor was interviewed earlier this week by the journalist, which he spoke about the regime of the incubent president. The interview was granted by the Premium Times the governor speaks about the government of president Buhari, and other relating matters concerning the administration.
Governor Fayose made his reasons clear why he won't cease to speak about the government of the current president.
He said: “You see, the power of Buhari is not more than to kill somebody. He can send soldiers to you to come and kill you but people will know that the killing is not normal. It must be a high-wired killing.”
Fayose further added that he is not afraid of Buhari.
“The power of Buhari is not more than you go and lock somebody up. I am not afraid of him. I am not in the calibre of politicians who are saying, ‘ah don’t let me die o! Don’t let my mother die o,! You don’t take the inheritance of your father if you are not sure you are ready to take it. I am not in that category,” the governor noted.
“Most noble men today have gone underground for fear of the unknown. And in times like this, when you train a lion, when you keep a lion in your family house, those of you promoting that lion will end up in his stomach one day. The same thing we were telling Obasanjo that time. We said Obasanjo was a dictator. Obasanjo consumed most of them who were promoting him that time. I have never minced words, before the campaign…I am not a sycophant to say that it was after Buhari became president that I started praising or talking against him.. I started from day one.”
He also recalled Buhari’s military regime: “I was 24 years old when Buhari was head of state of Nigeria. We were daily being beaten in Ibadan when we queued up for essential commodities. I remembered how he stopped import duties and did a lot of things damaging to the economy, the same way he is still doing it today. God raised Joseph at a given time.
“God raised Moses to warn Pharaoh of the consequences of his leadership, until he perished. I have said it clearly that any attempt to confront me and attack my government will bring Buhari’s government down.

“My name is Ayo Fayose, I mean every word I am saying. As powerful as God has made the snail, he warned the snail to beware of salt. God gave the snail a protected shield behind him and told him to crawl all over the world, but warned him to be mindful of salt. I am salt. He should be mindful of me. It doesn’t matter his might, we have seen presidents before. We were here when Obasanjo was here. We were here when other presidents came and we will still be here when he will leave.
“I am not a coward. Call me controversial if you like. Men that will make history will be very controversial. Courageous people will be controversial. The bible makes it very clear that the righteous will be as bold as a lion,” Governor Fayose concluded.
Governor Fayose is well known of finding fault in the current ruling government administration without the fear of anybody.
Recently, he advised the president to resign if he cannot solve the economic hardship in Nigeria.
Governor Fayose said the president should make sure that other passed leaders of Nigeria are properly investigated to clearify the guilt of fraud in the government, he said the president should not be impartial in judging past leaders who are not his party members, the governor added talking inorder to prevent political crisis.

Court Accept Rivers Apc Guber Candidate to Serve Papers for Tribunal

The Rivers Governorship Election Petition Tribunal, sitting in Abuja on Wednesday struck out a motion filed by Gov. Nyesom Wike challenging Dr Dakuku Peterside’s eligibility to contest the 2015 governorship election in Rivers.
The tribunal Chairman, Justice Muazu Pindiga ruled that Peterside met the 21 days notice for the All Progressive Congress (APC) primaries as provided in the Electoral Act.
Wike’s counsel Emmanuel Ukala, had on July 22, moved a motion, alleging that the APC did not observe the 21 days mandatory notification of its candidate before the election.
“The APC did not observe the 21 days Electoral Act declaration under which it is to notify INEC of its candidate before its primary elections.
“So, the document presented by APC on Nov. 18, 2014 notifying INEC of its candidate does not in any way comply with the provisions of the electoral law.’’
Ukala told the tribunal that the convention/primary elections held on Dec. 4 that produced the APC candidate to run for the 2015 general election was null and void.
He also urged the tribunal to discountenance a document produced at the tribunal notifying INEC of the time the APC conducted its convention and primary elections.
Ukala contended that the documents ought to have been presented to the tribunal before this stage and urged the tribunal not to admit it as exhibit.
Pindiga also ruled that the tribunal had jurisdiction to entertain the petition saying that the tribunal was properly constituted by the President of the court of appeal.

Formal Akwa Ibom State Governor Emerges As the New Senate Majority Leader (SEE DETAILS)

THE Senate, today, named immediate past governor of Akwa Ibom State and senator representing Akwa Ibom North West, Godswill Akpabio as the Minority Leader.
The Red Chamber also announced Senator Emmanuel Bwacha, representing Taraba Central as the Deputy Minority Leader just as it named senators Philip Aduda, representing the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, and Biodun Olujimi, representing Ekiti South, as Minority Whip and Deputy Minority Whip , respectively.
*Akpabio The confirmation of the four principal officers from the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, by the Upper Chamber, followed their nominations last Monday evening and subsequent presentation to the Senate leadership for confirmation early today.
But the confirmation of Senator Akpabio by the Senate President, Bukola Saraki, did not however, go unchallenged, as the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, speaking through Senator Kabiru Marafa, representing Zamfara South, opposed it, claiming that the approval of the former Akwa Ibom State helmsman violated the Senate Standing Rule, which according to him, recognizes that only the ranking members were qualified to handle principal offices.
As the Senate President called on the Sergeant-At-Arms to usher the newly confirm principal officers from the PDP fold to their respective seats, Senator Kabiru Marafa, raised a point of order, citing the Senate Order 13 (1) and (2), that opposes the appointment or election of any non ranking member to the position of principal offices.
Noting that the PDP Senate Caucus violated the positions of the Senate Standing Order when they nominated Akpabio as a Majority Leader, Senator Marafa asked the Red chamber to do the needful by reversing the confirmation of Akpabio.
But the PDP senators, through the Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu, representing Enugu West, raised a point of order, upon which he explained that he and his colleagues did nothing wrong in the nomination of Akpabio to the position.
Citing the relevant rule of the Senate, Ekweremadu insisted that Akpabio’s nomination was in order and so, be upheld by the Senate leadership for the position.
Having listened to the two arguments from both Marafa and Ekweremadu, the Senate President, Bukola Saraki, upheld the nomination of Akpabio and three others from the PDP senators for the four principal offices

Eldersand leaders of thought in Bayelsa State under the aegis of Bayelsa Elders Consultative Council have berated members of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who defected to All Progressives Congress (APC), saying they are a disgrace to the Ijaw nation.

He said most of the defectors were beneficiaries of former president Goodluck Jonathan’s generosity, but abandoned him as soon as he lost the presidential election.
According to him, this was the time when such persons should reciprocate the former president’s goodwill towards them, instead of turning their backs against him and the PDP.
“These persons are clearly not for us; they are enemies of the Ijaw nation and it is sad that, people who have benefitted immensely from the PDP and Jonathan could within so short a time jump ship.
And, yet they come and deceive us that, they love us. These are not persons to be taken serious and we must not fall prey to their antics.”
Governor Dickson also used the opportunity to call on the security agencies in the state to step up their game, adding that in spite of the prevailing peace and stability, they should not rest on their oars.
Governor Dickson decried the unwarranted attacks on his government, disclosing that, in spite of the distractions, the administration had continued to promote freedom of speech and expression.
In his remarks, the Chairman of the Bayelsa State Elders Forum, Chief Francis Doukpola, said the interaction would foster more understanding and cooperation among stakeholders, while urging traditional rulers to be sensitive to security issues in their domains by closely monitoring the activities of their subjects.
