Education: Candidates should not purchase any post utme form from any university

The president of National Universities commission cleared the air today on the issue of the scrapped post utme by the Hon Minister of Education.

The president  of the union said that candidates who applied for any tertiary institution should not purchase Post Utme form as it has been cancelled.
He added that the candidates should wait for the university to call them and interview them base on their jamb qualification,

Breaking News: See the Bayero University student commit suicide (MUST READ)

A female student of Usman Bayero University Kano identified as one Miss Sarah Imoleaya have committed suicide because of some life event that she misunderstood.

The Lady is a student at the department of Library Science in the institution’s faculty of Education, was said to have committed the said act after consuming an insecticide.

Sarah Left a Note before she died stating her reason for the suicide, according the report made by Unity Fm Jos.


Sarah had reportedly gone to the faculty office to see if anything could be done about a particular course she reportedly had issues with, but it was reported that it was too late.

The body of the late student of Usman Bayero University was found under the departmental stair case alongside her bag and a written note, which she stated below;

“I will not apply for course suspension. My academics is all I live for. If I can’t get it right, F… K existence,” the note read.

Sarah's body was rushed to the hospital, but she gave up the the ghost at the hospital, things that were recovered from her include a Suicide Note, an Insecticide Container and her hand bag.

Groom stabbed lover And mother to death for rejecting his proposal. (MUST READ)

A man named Mr. Ogundele David wo is about 35 years of age killed a lady who is known as Miss Tosin Ashinwo, Miss Tosin an MTN worker.

Mr Ogundele has been charged to court for murder at Ilorin Magistrate’s Court.

Nigerian News agency gathered that the Nigerian Police have arraigned the suspect for Murder earlier on thursday afternoon.

Mr David, who is a teacher at the Landmark University Secondary School, Omu-Aran, was charged with culpable homicide punishable by death, and an attempt to commit culpable homicide contrary to sections 221 and 229 of Penal Code.


According to the Nigerian Police report, the accused was at Ashinwo’s residence at Tanke, Ilorin, where he met the mother of the deceased, Abiola (65), and made effort to convince the deceased and her mother to accept his marriage proposal.

The deceased refused the marriage proposal of Mr Ogundele base on the fact that he was married before.


According to the report, the refusal of the marriage proposal infuriated the accused, who ran into the kitchen, picked a knife and stabbed Ashinowo to death.


“The suspect also stabbed Abiola all over her body till she fell into a coma,” the report added.

The police reported that the mother of the deceased is now in a disclosed hospital receiving tratement, but they are not certain about her recovery.

Mr David pleaded not Guilty  to the charges and asked to be granted bail.

The police prosecutor officer refused and said the offence is capital to nature and can't be granted bail.

The Case has been adjourned until june 6th 2016 for further clearance.

Things went wrong for the lady as she was caught in the act and molested by angry mob,

News: Lover Sentenced to Death for Killing (Must read)

The Delta state high court yesterday, sentenced a 26years old man, identified as one Mr Lucky Anyali.

For the death of one Mr Emeka Ashibogwu Anyali, who was convicted on a one-count charge of murder, committed the offence on February 18, 2014 at Ogwashi-Uku within the Ogwashi-Uku Judicial Division.
The offence is punishable under Section 319(1) of the Criminal Code Cap C. 21 Volume 1, Laws of Delta State of Nigeria, 2006.

According to source, Mr Anyali has been said to be having enstranged affair with the Wife of the deceased.

On one of the occasions when the deceased reportedly visited his estranged wife and daughter, he had a scuffle with Anyali.
Also, on the night of the incident, the deceased had also gone to see his daughter, who was said to be ill when Anyali became furious on sighting him.

He was said to have picked a kitchen knife and descended on his opponent, stabbing him in the chest region, leaving him in the pool of his blood before he was rushed to the Ogwashi-Uku General Hospital where he was confirmed dead.

After committing the crime, Anyali reportedly fled into the bush that night, but was later fished out at dawn by youths in the area who handed him over to the police at Ogwash-Uku.

The Convict while interrogated by the Police Investigator, he pleades guilty and said he did the act inorder for self defence.
He maintain this statement even in the court during trial.
But he was dismissed and sentence to death by hanging by the Delta state high court situated in Asaba.

News: Suspected Soldier Drown in a River in Bayelsea State (MUST READ)

A member of the Joint force in Niger Delta today was found dead today close to an Oil Field operated by Agip Oil Company.

An Eye witness said the soldier was escorting oil spiller in a boat before their boat capsized and he was found dead.

The eye witness said more concerning the incident below.

"The boat conveying the crew from Agip’s field capsized on their way back from the site at the oilfield across and before help could come the soldier had drowned and died."

“They were using a hand paddled canoe to cross the workers one at a time.



“The soldier was washing his boots when water entered the boat and it capsized. His rifle fell into the creek when the other members of the crew had crossed and waiting for him to cross.”

The fisher men did not hesitate to help out in recovering the riffle and bringing out the body of the dead soldier.
